This short film was created by Erin Espelie, a moving-image artist, writer, editor and associate professor at UC Boulder. She lives in a canyon near Sacred Mountain Ashram and has attended yoga and other programs for more than a decade. In 2016, Erin expressed her wish to make a film to share the beauty and inspiration of Gurudeva’s heavenly mountain retreat.

The 20-minute film, Sacred Mountain, is Erin’s concept and includes footage of Swami Amar Jyoti taken by disciples in the US and India.  Erin did the interviews at Sacred Mountain Ashram, as well as filming and editing, along with filmmakers Gina Telaroli and Kalpana Subramanian.
